About me

I, Eva Brunner, am a native German speaker and have been happily living in Uppsala, Sweden, since 2018. I grew up in Siegen and lived mostly in Berlin. 

I have worked in communications, websites, UX, copywriting, and creative writing for over 15 years — 8 of those at the digital creative agency Henkelhiedl. On the side, I began with translations, marketing, and PR between Sweden and Germany. And this is exactly what I focus on now in my own company. 

Since I have always been interested in language, culture, and humans, I studied comparative literature, communications, and psychology (M.A., FU Berlin), followed by doctoral studies in North American Literature and Culture (Dr. phil., HU Berlin).

Another part of my career has been my work as a creative writer. Since 2010, I have regularly published online, in anthologies, magazines, and two and a half poetry volumes :) You can visit my page on Literaturport or my Instagram profile to learn more about my literary activities.
